Quality Policy
The Company provides a quality Ship Management Service which fully satisfies our customers and statutory requirements, in an efficient and cost effective manner.

To achieve this service, the Company has adopted the requirements of “ISO 9001 : 2000” and the “IMO International Management Code for the  of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (International Safety Management, (ISM Code)”.

The Quality Assurance Manager has the responsibility and authority for the maintenance and monitoring of the policy and is responsible for continuously improving the effectiveness of our Quality Management System and encouraging active involvement of all employees in improvement and innovation in all functions of management.

Our integrated management system has been approved by LRS & DNV.

All policies and procedures listed in above documents are followed meticulously both at offices and on board ships. Periodically audits on board as well as in offices are conducted to wee out system defects if any, and make the system more effective.

Safety & Environmental Policy

•   Our objective is to eliminate work-related injury and illness by promoting safe practices and by constant training.
•   We encourage all employees to identify potentially unsafe conditions or practices and to undertake corrective measures.
•   We recognize the need both for effective measures to avoid pollution incidents and for contingency planning to ensure adequate response to     pollution incidents.
•   We insist upon an ongoing commitment from all employees for a high standard of health, safety and environmental protection. SNP expects all its     contractors to follow SNP standards.
•   We comply with, and try to improve upon, all international, national, state and local laws and regulations concerning health, safety and     environmental protection.
•   We always cooperate with maritime organizations and governments, trade and industry associations to achieve highest standards of safety and     environmental protection.
•   We explore and implement programs that go above and beyond compliance in our environmental performance.
•   We set and review environmental objectives and goals that challenge the company to continually improve environmental management and     prevention of pollution.

Drug & Alcohol Policy
•   Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited on company vessels
•   Use of prescribed or non-prescribed drugs which in their overuse may cause personal harm or result in diminished awareness or capacity to     function safely or coherently is prohibited.
•   SNP has a strict Drug and Alcohol policy in place. No Alcohol is consumed on our managed vessels.
